There are two components to the Aquascape Designs filtration process. The first is called the BioFalls. The BioFalls is a biological filter that creates a perfect base for building beatiful, leak free waterfalls and also filters the water. Bacteria live inside of the BioFalls and clean water as it passes through. There is also filter mats contained in the BioFalls. The CleanSweep Skimmer is the second component to the filtering process. It eliminates routine maintenance for you by removing debris before it sinks to the bottom of the pond. Acting as a prefilter to other filters, the skimmer removes solids before they can reach and clog the second filter. The pump is hidden inside the skimmer from view alongside your pond.
