Next Day Air. We will arrange a date with you for delivery in order for the fish to be put
into the pond as soon as possible once they arrive. Orders can be shipped to your
residence or office. You can reserve your koi by placing your order now and having it shipped when your pond is ready. Credit cards will be processed on the day of shipment. Shipping charges vary depending on quantity of fish ordered. On average, $50.00 is the usual shipping charge applied to orders of (12) 4"-5" fish. Minimum order on fish is $50.00. Guarantee is limited to live arrival. RECEIVING: Quarantine all new arrivals, and never mix new fish with old fish. Premier Ponds will not be responsible in any way for losses and damage due to mixing new and old fish. Float the bag in your receiving tank or pond for about 20-30 minutes. Place a small amount of the tank or pond water into the bag every 10 minutes. This helps the fish acclimate to your water conditions. Do not allow bag to float in direct sunlight. Make sure that the bag is shaded when floating. When releasing the fish into your tank or pond, DO NOT pour the shipping water into your tank or pond water. Place fish from the bag to the water using a net. Please note that koi have a tendency to jump out of the tank or pond for the first week of entry. Please take precautions to prevent any losses. WATER QUALITY: Good water quality is the MOST important factor in maintaining healthy fish. Without it, fish are under continual stress-which will eventually lead to disease. Adding salt and products like Stress Guard will help reduce the stress on fish. Important factors that negatively effect water quality and fish health: high ammonia & nitrite levels, low dissolved oxygen levels, temperature shock, chlorine & contaminants, fish parasites & viruses, etc. GUARANTEE: Premier Ponds guarantees the koi to arrival only. We are unable to guarantee the koi after arrival due to the many factors that cause koi disease & death. Please contact Premier Ponds immediately if any of the koi do not arrive alive. Premier Ponds will refund or replace, at our option. Once fish are shipped from our location, the customer takes full ownership. We are unable to cancel orders once they ship. Premier Ponds will not accept returns on koi orders once they are shipped. All koi sales are final. Premier Ponds will contact you to set up a delivery day. An adult must be present to sign for the fish. We cannot guarantee fish if they are not accepted on the specified delivery day. Premier Ponds will not be responsible for shipments that are refused. If the package has been damaged in transit or not delivered on time, please inform the deliveryman and file a claim with the freight company. Contact us immediately to report any problems. Premier Ponds will prepare your koi for shipment using high quality insulated boxes, medical grade oxygen, ice packs, & high quality shipping bags.
